The second entry of the series. Dr. Wily returned with eight new Robot Masters in another plan to take over the world.
It kept the challenging but fair gameplay of its predecessor, alongside some quality of life improvements. These additions included the ability to recover health at any time with Energy Tanks, and passwords allowing players to save their progress between sessions.
