What is Capcom Town?

Capcom Town allows you to easily enjoy a variety of Capcom contents directly on your browser.
You can play classic games, watch the latest trailers, and check out some of our most nostalgic video contents.
We plan to update the contents consistently, so please check back often!

What can I do on Capcom Town?

Capcom Town features a selection of Capcom games and videos. Try clicking (or tapping) the buildings on the top page. Buildings under construction will be updated at a later date, so please keep an eye out.

■Theater: Watch videos, such as the latest trailers.
■Classic Games: Play Capcom’s classic games. New playable titles will be added every month.
■Latest Information Board: Stay up to date on the latest news about Capcom and Capcom Town.

Is Capcom ID registration required to use Capcom Town?

Some classic games require CAPCOM ID registration.

What are the recommended system requirements for using Capcom Town?

Capcom Town runs slow on my device / browser.

If you are experiencing slow service environment for Capcom Town, this may be relevant to insufficient memory and/or device performance.
Please try closing other applications on your device and/or restarting your browser.

Can I mute the sound?

Unfortunately, Capcom Town doesn’t have a built-in mute option. You can adjust or mute the volume directly from your PC or smartphone settings.

Can I change the display language?

You can switch the display language using the language selection option via the menu on the top right corner.
Capcom Town currently only supports the languages listed. Capcom Town will support additional languages in the future.

What types of controls do Classic Games support?

Classic Games is playable on both PCs and smartphones. You may use the keyboard or external controllers on PC.
For basic controls, please refer to the title page of each game.

I cannot access the game.

Depending on the device or browser in use, some games may not operate properly. Please try playing the game on a different system settings if necessary.
Please note that the recommended system requirement does not guarantee error-free performance of the service.

Can I play them on a smartphone?

Classic Games supports smartphones.

My smartphone becomes too hot.

Some devices or OS versions may have difficulty running Classic Games.
If the issue continues, please try a different device or PC.

Will Classic Games feature additional titles in the future?

The list of playable games will be updated consistently. Please check back often.

Are Classic Games free to play?

Classic Games are free to play, but the service may require CAPCOM ID registration or watching advertisements.
Please note that Capcom is not responsible for any access or data fees incurred from third parties (such as your internet provider or mobile carrier) in connection with your use of Capcom Town Classic Games.

Can I skip watching advertisements?

In some regions or with some games, a short advertisement will be shown before playing.
Skipping the ad prevents the game from loading. Please watch the ad to start the game.

*Please note that Capcom is not responsible for any access or data fees incurred from third parties (such as your internet provider or mobile carrier) in connection with watching the ad.

Check your connection:
Connection issues may prevent playback. Try a different location with a good stronger signal or switch to Wi-Fi if carrier restrictions apply.

Turn off Power saving mode/Low Power Mode on your mobile device
If Power saving mode/Low Power Mode is activated on your mobile device, advertisements may not load properly due to the setting. We recommend disabling Power saving mode/Low Power Mode when accessing Capcom Town.

Restart your device:
If the device is unstable, please try restarting the device.

Disable ad-blockers:
Ad-blocking apps may prevent video playback.

Can I use a gamepad?

Gamepads can be used, and you may remap or reconfigure the button inputs for your gamepad. However, some gamepads may not be fully supported on Classic Games.
Please refer to your gamepad’s instruction manual when connecting it to your PC or smartphone.

Is it okay to post or stream gameplay videos?

You may post or stream gameplay videos as long as you comply with the Capcom Video Guidelines.

Can I save my game progress?

Except for titles that support in-game saving feature, there is no save function for game progress.
Please note the following:
*Cookies must be enabled to play the game and save your progressgames.
*Saved data can only be accessed on the same browser.
*Deleting cookies or offline data will prevent access to saved data.

Does Classic Games it support two-player or online matches?

Some titles support a local two-player experience.
Please note that Classic Games does not support online matches.
*A setup requires either a keyboard and a gamepad, or two gamepads for local two-player experience.
